Susanne, Don and I thoroughly enjoyed the river cruise.  We liked the limited number of passengers on the cruise which allowed us to meet and interact with pretty much everyone on board, both passengers and crew.  The accommodations with the French balcony were spacious and comfortable.  It was lovely to be able to look out on our balcony and see sights as we sailed along the Rhine...so much better than just looking at the ocean as you would on a large cruise ship between ports. Sailing up the beautiful Rhine River gave us spectacular views. Being able to dock right in the villages or cities we were visiting and start our tours right there was a great plus.  Each day we had a variety of tours to choose from and I was pleased to be able go with the option of a "gentle walkers" group.   The food was excellent, the menus were based on local fare and paired with suggested wines from the region.  Our extended stay in Switzerland was wonderful as well. The accommodations at the hotels in Zurich and Luzern were excellent as were the tours. – Elsa G
